WOOHOO I just booked my ticket for the Stargate Convention in Vancouver 2008. Still working 12 hour shifts to pay for it as well.

HOW LONG May. 13th, 2007 @ 06:40 pm
Not been on here for ages, as I have not had time and forgot about it TBH. Well news front is I am now in my own place, woohoo. Not going to bad at the mo, but time will tell.
My parents are moving away to Lincolnshire soon, so I will have to start cooking my own food! (I see food poisoning ahead LOL).
Just got back from seeing Bryan Adams at Wembley Arena and he was AWESOME, he rocked. I know where I'll be everytime he announces a tour. Front row and center. :)
Anyway I will try and post a little more from now on, so hope your all fine and see you lot soon.

Wend xx

LFCC and NEW PUPPIE Jul. 2nd, 2006 @ 11:53 pm
What can I say. FANTASTIC weekend at the Film and Comic Con at Earls Court London. I got the autographs I wanted and the posed pictures I wanted, bought some cool pictures and tshirts. Met some new friends *Waves* and loved every min of it. Had a great conversation with Rachel Luttrell and Loyd Bateman (stuntman on Atlantis, SG1 and various films) about Martial Arts.
Then got home to find a little 8 week old black lab puppie who I want to call either Rodney, McKay, Shepp or Jack. (Don't think parents will go for it though) LOL.

ENGLAND Jun. 25th, 2006 @ 10:20 pm
They done it to us again, putting us through the ringer. The tension in the pub was so thick you could cut it with a knife. When Becks scored I and a few others in the pub where treated to a beer shower. I had to change when I got home as I smelled like a brewery. My throat is a bit sore with the singing and screaming at the tv, but it was fantastic.
Now we got Portugal next Saturday, how many yellow and red cards where there!!
I'm in London next weekend so am finding the nearest pub or big screen (do they still put them up?) So hope everyone enjoyed the atmosphere if not the game and lets start all over again next Saturday.

Off down the pub soon to watch England. Just can't beat the atmosphere in the pub its great. Down London next weekend to the London Film And Comic Convention to meet a few of the stars of my favorite tv show. (Atlantis and SG1). And yes Fairy I will try to get Elijah's for you. So when (dare I say it) England get through I'm hoping that they will have the big screens up somewhere in London so I can watch it. If not the nearest pub will do. SO COME ON ENGLAND make 2moro at work a happy one.

» Bon Jovi Gig.
My first try at this so here goes. We got to the Rioch Stadium at about 4pm, would of been earlier except for somebody forgetting the tickets to actually get in. (Not a clue who that was) *ahem* It was the shortest bus ride I've ever had. LOL.
Tried to get the one Bon Jovi tshirt I wanted outside the gig but no one had it in a XL, so ended up buying 2 white ones. Only to find that they had the black one inside on a XL so ended up buying that one as well, and a programme. I was very surprised to find not that many people on the pitch at that time of the day, so we managed to get very close to the GC barrier. Some local band where on first, did not take much notice at all I hate to say so can't give you a review on them. Nickleback were up next, did not know many of the songs they sang. But they did a good show, the firing of tshirts into the crowd was amusing as they never reached out of the GC. Then on came Bon Jovi.......
OMG, Jon came out on the catwalk virtually right in front of us, my camera was out and pix where taken as fast as possible. The crowd whent nuts as they played all of there hit songs new and old. Near the end of the gig, Jon told us he was trying not to sneeze on us as he had hayfever really bad, the crowd responded with "We don't care". He took his sunglasses off at one stage and asked "When did you lot get here" LOL.
When they did Living on a Prayer, I had my camera recording it and had rung a mate up to let her listen. The video is a bit shakey with me jumping around like a looney. It was without doubt the best gig I have ever been to, and yes it even topped Queen & Paul Rodgers.
Getting out fo the gig was like being in a cattle herd, but we managed to walk for about half and hour and flag down a taxi. Will be doing to all over again in July for Bryan Adams at Althorp House.
